hyrdation heroes

Embroylisse Lait-Crème Concentré, Origins Drink Up Intensive mask, Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa cleansing balm, Super Facialist by Una Brennan Rose Hydrate moisture mask, Indeed Labs Hydraluron.

Recently my skin has been attempting to punish me for exam season; late nights and early mornings, high stress levels and copious amounts of comfort eating have left my skin both inflamed and extremely dry. While I am nowhere near recovered as yet, the above products have at least aided in combatting the flaky patches which made successful foundation application near impossible.
The Emma Hardie cleansing balm is undoubtedly my favourite cleanser in my collection but until now I had been scrimping and using it more sparingly. Now it sees use daily and is perhaps my favourite part of my routine and it's really improved the overall appearance of my skin. Daily moisturising duties have been restricted to my two hydration heroes; Indeed Labs Hydraluron serum and Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré moisturiser. I find Hydraluron's intensive dose of hyaluronic acid has really helped tackle any breakouts as well as provide a much needed 'moisture boost'.
Treatment masks have been imperative to my routine of late and I've even been mixing my Origins mask with my night-cream some nights for even further hydration. So far I haven't been amazed by this Super Facialist 'moisture mask' but every little helps!
Since pairing this routine with an extra litre of water a day I'm on the road to recovery and hope to see better skin days soon. What are your hero products for dehydrated skin?

  1. I find it strange the way human nature wants heroes and yet wants to destroy their heroes. It's a kind of mass insecurity people want something to look up to and get a buzz off but, at the same time, want to destroy it because it makes them feel insecure. See the link below for more info.
